Day 21: Hoping the Light At the End of the Tunnel Isn't a Train

morning weigh-in: 149.4

Under 150 for the first time in... I actually don't know how long. Of course this means nothing, as tomorrow's another day. Friday, to be exact, and they often portend weight spikes. Doesn't help that this weekend is the annual Taste of Buffalo. We'll see how that goes.

Once again this morning I forgot my cereal, but still had one more

Lance cracker snack, Four Cheese-flavored (finally, the last pkg. of 6)
black coffee, medium Tim Horton's (1)

before heading to the gym — after work, of course — for another four miles on the treadmill (while watching The Chew on ABC). Polished-off

water (12 oz.)

before heading home for lunch, which consisted of

ham and Swiss on whole wheat (1/2 sandwich - only one piece of bread left)
Tops Fruit-on the Bottom Yogurt, raspberry (8 oz.)
Wavy Lays (some)
water (12 oz.)

At dinner time I went out and lit the grill, and then proceeded to cook the chicken breasts in a frying pan on the stove. Duh! Realized about half-way through cooking the chicken that the grill was still on. Oh my! So we ate

file photo — but it really did look like this!
seared skinless lemon chicken breasts
rice cooked in chicken stock
steamed green beans
flat Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi
(probably opened one day last week)

Spent some time at the church food pantry, before coming home and snacking on a

Fit & Active mint ice cream sandwich, and
Willow Creek Winery Chocolate Temptations (1 glass)

So far, still no red-wine headaches from this chocolate stuff. I may be on to something.
