Again, teetering on the edge of 149-ness. But will it hold?
It's a typical Monday off of work, but not the typical off-of-work breakfast. Probably because I set the alarm on my cell phone for 6:30 a.m. due to an early morning chiropractic appointment, forgetting it was still on vibrate from the night before. Woke up just in time to jump into some pants and head out the door. Came home after and made
coffee, Donut Shop Blend, black (1)
buttered rye toast (2)
By then the living room project manager/slave-driver showed up and it was time to get to work. Very messy day, but luckily there was time for lunch
Tops Fruit-on-the-Bottom yogurt, strawberry (8 oz.)
red plum (1)
Tops Dry Roasted lightly salted peanuts (1 substantial handful)
ham, leftover (1 slab, naked)
water (a ton over the course of the afternoon)
Dinner went completely unplanned until about a half-hour after we usually eat. It was a toss-up between walking down to Canal Fest (too hot) or leftovers. The "too-hot" choice got voted down.
no, you can't eat just one |
pan-seared chicken breast, leftover (1/2)
rice cooked in chicken broth, leftover (a good-sized mound)
red plum (1)
strawberries (8 bigguns)
Lays Dill Pickle potato chips
(enough to finish-off yet another bag)
water (yes, more water —
I think I can hear it sloshing
around down there)
Stella D'oro Margherite
chocolate cookie (3)
After dinner, Tracy and I watched the DVD of the movie The Sessions; and you think you have problems? The perfect hot summer movie-night snack turned out to be
raspberry sherbet (2 humungous scoops)
Willow Creek Winery Chocolate Temptations (this bottle's last gulp)
G'nite everybody!
