Sunday morning weigh-in: 150.6
Today we'll spread the blame around for the weight gain. Half to the M&Ms and half to the Genny Light, which I guess wasn't light enough.
So let's sit down to the breakfast table and have another helping of
grits & 2 soft-boiled eggs (1 bowl, as always on days off)
coffee, Clover Valley Donut Shop Blend
(I'm disappointed that it's not "Doughnut Shoppe")
Had a little writing work to catch up on before heading off to the living room project from H-E-double hockey sticks. It's not that bad really, but who am I to not complain?
The abbreviated lunch consisted of
leftover potato salad from Friday (yeah, I finished it)
water (2, 12 oz. ea.)
Finally finished the deconstruction of the living room. And dinner was a rushed event of
ham & swiss on rye (1 sandwich)
water (2, 12 oz. ea.)
Tops Greek nonfat black cherry yogurt (6 oz.)
Wavy Lays (handfuls, and let's leave it at that)
Rushed, because we'd made a date to head over to Sassafras Bed & Breakfast in the Village of Lancaster, where our friend, jazz-singer Mari McNeil was appearing with guitarist Matt Michaud. What a great night for an outdoor backyard event. Even the accoustics were great (I attributed it in part to the humidity!). For our admission fee we were provided with
our choice of a bottle of wine
(Excelsior Chardonnay,
2011 from South Africa)
strawberries w/dipping chocolate
a wonderful baguette
two cheeses —
bleu, and the one which I liked better
but forgot to ask what it was
Out of all of that, I probably ate and drank 70 percent to Tracy's 30 percent. But that what husbands do. So I did.
