Yep.
After that, things started going downhill. As I was drinking my morning Joe I realized that once again I'd forgotten my cereal. So as I waited in line to pay for gas, I picked up a package of
Twizzlers, strawberry (2.5 oz. — it sure seemed like more than that)
and of course
coffee, Tim Horton's medium black
water (20 oz.)
Did my four miles on the treadmill at the gym, where I discovered that someone had deposited both their gum and a used tissue in the little compartment where I set my iPod. Gross. Of course I found them as I pulled the iPod out and the gum was stuck to it. Is there a gym somewhere where people can do brain workouts?
Had a light lunch as it was the usual Tuesday lateness when I got home.
Top Fruit-on-the-Bottom yogurt, boysenberry (8 oz.)
Stella D'oro Margherites, chocolate (3)
Black Forest Fruit Snacks, fruit medley-flavored
(.9 oz. — didn't seem like that much)
water (20 oz.)
The problem with a late lunch is that it's usually not followed by a late dinner. Three hours later...
grilled cheeseburger (1)
roasted/grilled potatoes (1 serving)
strawberries (a bunch)
Genny Light (1 can, 12 oz.)
Nice, but I can't see Russia from here. |
Watched Monday's episode of Under the Dome on the DVR, did a little work outside (where I think I sweated-out all of today's liquid intake), and then said to myself in the kitchen (where luckily no one else was around to hear, so it's still my own little secret): "I think I'll go out on the beer and have a porch." Yikes!
Genny Light (1 can, 12 oz.)
Showered (and judging from the fact that it's fifteen minutes later and I'm still wet, I'm wondering if I dried myself off), and sat down at the computer, just to write today's blog entries. Oh, and have a few
pretzel sticks (a few — weren't you paying attention?)
Aloha!
Do potato chips count as a veggie?
ReplyDeleteI ask because I polished off a bag of wavy chips left over from a family get together.
Your blog about eating is interesting reading. Do you think exercising is the key to your weight loss regime?
And pretzels-what food group are they from? Carbs? Grain?
I won't ask about Twizzlers.
Keep up the good reporting.
Potato chips is (are) a veggie. By my rules.
DeleteThe exercise doesn't hurt, but also I don't notice much difference between the days I do and the days I don't.
The key is eating when you're hungry, and not eating just because you want to eat. Once you learn the difference...
