Day 45: Suburban Boy Heads into the Big City

Sunday morning weigh-in: 149.8

I guess I didn't eat as much as I thought yesterday. Maybe I sweated it out doing yard work (the little that I contributed). Today though, is Sunday. As we get older we get into routines. Routines like

grits and eggs, soft-boiled, 2 (1 bowl —
     I love this stuff!)
Beaumont Dark Roast coffee (2 cups)

Got a start on the New York Times Crossword Puzzle before church. Came home and did a little financial paperwork before heading over to the Buffalo History Museum for their Antique & Classic Car Show. Had a great time, got a lot of photos but... got caught-up in the moment and never ate lunch. Good grief! And to make things worse, Artvoice editor Geoff Kelly was hosting a Buffalo Infringement event in his back yard downtown, so I headed over there — before any dinner (by this point it was dinnertime, mind you), and had

nectarine (1)
plum (1)
kettle corn (not much, as the little five-year-old girl
standing guard at the popcorn bowl was trying to
         discourage me from eating any)
Corona Extra (2, 12 oz. ea.)

Made it home eventually, and had a little something

ham & cheese on toasted rye (1)
Yoplait cherry yogurt (6 oz.)
fresh cherries (20)
nectarine (1, bigger than the last one)
water (12 oz.)
Coke Zero cherry (12 oz.)
Twizzlers, strawberry (17 — was going to stop at 12,
but who leaves only five in the bag?)

And later, doing some writing...

Aldi milk chocolate (3 squares from the large bar)

'Nuff.
