The other day, a Facebook friend mentioned how she's sick of losing the same two pounds over and over again. What she needs to focus on is not gaining the same two pounds over and over again. (I'm not a professional dietician; I only play one on television.) I'm in a similar groove, but I'm okay with it because this is pretty much where I want to be. Maintaining it is the challenge; and so far so good.
This morning started out with
coffee, Tim Horton's medium black, bought at the Lewiston Tops (1 cup)
Tops Multi-Grain Crunchy Oats bar, fruit & nut variety (1)
dry-roasted edamame (1 22.5 gram bag)
Paula Red apple (1)
red plum (1)

water (20 oz.)
at the gym, along with 4.5 miles walked on the treadmill. At the gym, I was watching the ABC program The Chew, where I saw a great recipe for a new potato salad. I'll give it a try tomorrow for the weekly downtown buffet. Lunch was eventually squeezed in —
Tops Fruit-on-the-Bottom raspberry yogurt
Baker's Treat peanut butter wafers (2)
Tostito crispy rounds (1 fistful)
water (12 oz.)
Harold Lloyd |
Dinnertime was spent watching an old Harold Lloyd silent movie, Hot Water, while dining on
chicken cacciatore (1 serving)
Genny Light (1 12 oz. can)
After which Tracy, Andy, and I were off to help out at the food pantry. Came home and watched Project Runway. A snack? Don't mind if I do...
Clancy's wavy potato chips (a manly-sized serving)
Friendly's black raspberry ice cream (1 scoop)
A little writing, then off to dreamland.
