Day 56: Damn You, M&Ms

Thursday morning weigh-in: 149.2

Okay, so I didn't have to eat the two bags of M&Ms yesterday (they were only 5 oz. bags each). But I did, in a moment of weakness; which followed closely the moment of weakness when I unwrapped the second cranberry/orange muffin. 

Maybe it was a sub-conscious slip, but I walked out of the house without taking anything with me to eat on the morning drive. Knowing it would be a short day, I also didn't bother buying anything, except

coffee, medium black Tim Horton's (1 cup)

Even when I got home, I was caught up in things and had a very quick lunch

water (12 oz.)
Fit & Active strawberry yogurt (6 oz.)
leftover baked beans (1 serving)

Perhaps it was because in the back of my mind I knew we were going out to eat. That can often be tragic for anyone on a weight-watching regimen. But, out we went, to Danny's on Genesee Street. Not bad. Not bad at all...

The Burger Special: sirloin burger 
     topped with bacon, 
     lettuce, tomato, and cheese (1) 
French fries
IPA draught (2 pints)
coffee, w/cream (1 cup)


Came home and eventually sat down to watch Project Runway, while enjoying

Friendly's Xtreme Sundae Caramelot frozen dairy 
     dessert — finally read the fine print; don't call it 
     ice cream! (2 scoops)

And right then and there called it a night.
